Jharkhand BJP leader Anil Tiger shot dead in broad daylight in Ranchi

Former District Council member and BJP leader Anil Mahato, also known as Anil Tiger, was shot dead in broad daylight in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He was standing at a tea stall near Kanke Chowk when unidentified assailants opened fire on him. The BJP leader died on the spot.

The attackers shot him in the temple before fleeing the scene. The incident took place at Kanke Chowk in Ranchi. He was rushed to RIMS, Ranchi, where doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving information, the police from Kanke police station arrived at the crime scene and began their investigation. However, the perpetrators have not yet been identified.

After carrying out the firing incident, the local people blocked Kanke Chowk. Anger was visible among the people. Despite there being so a large crowd at Kanke Chowk, the criminals carried out the incident. The reason for his murder is not yet known.

BJP state president Babulal Marandi posted an ex, "I am shocked to hear that BJP Ranchi Rural District General Secretary and former Zila Parishad member Anil Tiger was shot by criminals. Criminals are fearlessly attacking public representatives. The law-and-order situation in the state has completely collapsed, where neither public representatives nor common citizens are safe." Babulal Marandi further wrote, "When police officers do land business and get it done, they will give protection to land brokers, then such incidents are bound to happen.

Taking moral responsibility for this incident, Chief Minister Hemant Soren should immediately resign. Ranchi Police should immediately arrest the criminals and ensure strict action." At the same time, BJP national executive member Deepak Prakash wrote, "Jungle Raj has completely established itself in Jharkhand.

Today, the incident of BJP leader and Ranchi Rural District General Secretary Anil Tiger being shot by criminals in broad daylight is very serious and unfortunate. It is clear from this that the Hemant government has surrendered before the criminals."

Ranchi MLA CP Singh also expressed concern on X, stating, "Law and order in Jharkhand have completely collapsed. Criminals shot and killed BJP leader and former District Council member Anil Tiger in broad daylight at Kanke Chowk. How long will Jharkhand continue to be engulfed in the sound of gunfire?
