Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation Approves Budget, Launches Free Skill Development Courses

Today, on 28 March 2025, the 130th meeting of the Board of Directors of Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation Limited was concluded. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mohammad Sohail, Secretary, Minority Welfare Department. Mr. Diwan Zafar Hussain Khan, Managing Director, Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation Limited, besides representatives of the Department of Industries, Finance Department, non-governmental representatives Mr. Liaquat Ali and Mr. Munna Malik were present in the meeting.

The budget of Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation Limited for the year 2025-26 was approved in the meeting. Also, important decisions were taken by the Board of Directors on the timely and effective expenditure of the amount of CSR item of the Corporation.

Another important decision was taken in this meeting. Under the Mukhyamantri Shramik Shakti Yojana, Domestic Data Entry Operator Course and DCA Course from Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University will be provided free of cost in Minority Welfare Hostels of 11 districts - Kishanganj, Khagaria, Katihar, Begusarai, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Rohtas, Nawada and Aurangabad. Only university registration and examination fee will be charged. This initiative will prove to be an important step towards providing new opportunities for skill development and employment to the youth.

The Managing Director of Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation Limited Patna gave detailed information on various schemes and financial status of the Corporation to the Director Councilor. In this meeting, the economic empowerment and financial assistance schemes of the minority community were also discussed to make them more effective.

Smt. Rashmi, Deputy Director-cum-Chief Finance Officer was also present in this meeting.
