The Indian cricket team is ready to host England at home. The 5-match T20I series will start between the two teams on January 22. Suryakumar Yadav will once again be seen captaining Team India. Suryakumar can do the big feat in T20

Captain Suryakumar Yadav will have a big responsibility on his shoulders in the five-match T20 series against England. Along with captaincy, he also has to bat brilliantly. Surya is very close to achieving a special feat in this series. As soon as Suryakumar Yadav completes 5 sixes during this series, he will become the first player to hit 150 sixes in less than 100 innings in T20 cricket in ICC's full member countries. Currently, Suryakumar Yadav has played 78 T20 matches for Team India, in which he has hit 145 sixes while batting. Till now, most of the players have hit more than 150 sixes in T20 cricket only after more than 100 matches.

Players who achieved the record of 150 sixes

Before Surya, New Zealand's explosive batsman Martin Guptill had achieved the feat of hitting 150 sixes after 105 matches. Apart from this, Rohit Sharma had hit 150 sixes in 119 matches. Although USA's Muhammad Wasim has already hit 150 sixes in less than 100 T20 innings, the US team does not come among the full member countries of the ICC.

India won 13 T20 matches out of 17 under Suryakumar’s captaincy

During the South Africa tour, Suryakumar Yadav showed a glimpse of his captaincy. Then India was competing in the final of the T20 World Cup. Even though the Indian team lost one match of this series, it still managed to win the series by winning two matches. Suryakumar Yadav has captained the Indian team in 17 T20 International matches so far. Out of these, India has won 13 and lost three. There was one match which ended in a tie. Now the series is going to be of five matches, which India has to win.
