Nine teams battled it out in Chhapra as sports quizzing took center stage; Bhagalpur to host next round on April 7;

The Bhikhari Thakur Auditorium-cum-Art Gallery in Chhapra was abuzz with excitement as nine teams showcased their sporting knowledge and quick thinking in the Saran Division Finals of the inter-school sports quiz contest- Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025. Following a high-stakes preliminary round and six onstage qualifiers, the competition culminated in an electrifying finale.

Emerging at the top were Amit Kumar Prasad and Priyanshu Kumar of Lal Bahadur Shashtri Uccha Vidyalaya-cum-Inter College, Bagaura. Their sharp answers and team coordination not only secured them the championship but also set a benchmark—their prelims score of 22 out of 25 is the highest among all three Division finals conducted so far in Darbhanga, Tirhut, and Saran. 


The runner-up position went to Akanksha Kumar and Adarsh Kumar of Kanya Madhya Vidyalaya, Amnaur, while Akash Kumar and Vaibhav Kumar of Visheshwar Seminary Inter-College, Chhapra claimed the second runner-up title.

The event was graced by an esteemed panel of dignitaries including Mr. Aman Samir, IAS, District Magistrate, Saran, Mr. Yatindra Pal, IAS, DDC, Saran, Mr. Lakshman Tiwari, IAS, SDM, Saran, Mr. Ravi Prakash, NDC, Saran, Ms. Priyanka Kumari, DPO, Saran, Ms. Vibha Rani, Representative from the Art and Culture Department. Their presence added prestige to the event and reinforced the importance of integrating co-curricular excellence into school education.

The Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 contest continues to foster awareness, curiosity, and a spirit of healthy competition among students, while promoting deeper engagement with the world of sports. The fourth division level contest will be conducted in Bhagalpur on 7th April 2025.
