In the 19th match of IPL 2025, Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets and registered a spectacular victory. In this match, Mohammad Siraj bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets and was adjudged 'Player of the Match'. On the other hand, captain Shubman Gill played an important role in the team's victory by scoring another half-century and also made a special record in his name.

Gill has now become the batsman to score the most number of half-centuries in Gujarat Titans' victory in IPL history. He has scored 50+ 13 times during Gujarat's victory in 31 innings, which is a record. The most interesting thing is that no other batsman has come close to his record.

Most 50+ scores in Gujarat Titans' wins:

13 – Shubman Gill (31 innings)*

3 – Sai Sudharsan (15 innings)

3 – Hardik Pandya (21 innings)

3 – Wriddhiman Saha (22 innings)

2 – Vijay Shankar (13 innings)

2 – David Miller (24 innings)

1 – Jos Buttler (3 innings)

Gill has displayed his form tremendously this season. This is his 25th 50+ score of IPL career, which includes 4 centuries and 21 half-centuries. He has now become the batsman with the most 50+ scores in IPL by the age of 25.

Shubman Gill made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018 at the age of 19. Today, he has become the only player to score more than 3000 runs before the age of 26. So far, he has scored a total of 3362 runs in 107 matches at an average of 38.20. Rishabh Pant is second in this list, who has scored 2838 runs in 98 matches.

Apart from this, Gill also holds the record for scoring the most centuries (three and four centuries) under the age of 26. No other player has scored more than two centuries at this age. Shubman Gill has emerged as the future star not only of Gujarat Titans but of the entire IPL.
