Bihar’s Top School Teams Gear Up for Division-Level Battles in Statewide Sports Awareness Contest;

In the first phase of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025, the online round witnessed a remarkable performance by the team of Ambar Sinha and Ishan Bhushan, students from St. Karen’s High School, Patna. They secured the first position with the highest score across all four online rounds held from April 24 to April 27.
The second position is claimed by the team of Aryan Raj and Abhiraj from JNV School, Samastipur, while the third spot went to the team of Sadhna Kumari and Kushagra Raj from High School Akbarpur (Kahalgon), Bhagalpur.
Top three teams from each district, based on their performance in the online rounds, will be awarded prizes. These teams have also qualified for the second phase of the competition, which will feature division-level contests. The top three teams from each division will advance to the third and final round of the competition.
Wildcard Entries:
To encourage participation from a diverse range of schools across districts, the highest scoring team from the top three schools with the best performances in the online rounds will receive wildcard entries to participate in the division-level contests.
Division-Level Competitions Schedule:
The second phase of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 will take place from April 2 to April 16.
The Darbhanga division's competition will be held on Wednesday at the Darbhanga Auditorium, Laheriasarai where top three teams of Darbhanga, Samastipur and Madhubani will compete.
The final round of the competition will take place in Patna on April 17.
Organized by the Bihar State Sports Authority, the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 aims to enhance awareness among Bihar’s school students about sports at the state, national, and international levels. It also seeks to foster a spirit of friendly competition among students from government and private schools, covering classes 6 to 12.
