NCW’s flagship initiative : Launch of 21 Pre-Marital Counselling Centers Across 9 States

On March 8, NCW will launch 21 Pre-Marital Counselling (PMC) Centers across 9 states, offering guidance on social, psychological, and behavioral aspects of marriage. These centers will help individuals and families navigate matrimonial relationships with greater awareness and support from expert counselors and psychologists.

NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar stated, “Strong marriages are built on understanding and communication. These centers will help young couples and their families address concerns openly, ensuring healthier and more informed relationships.”

Honoring Women Advocates in Legal Fraternity

In collaboration with Akhil Bharatiya Abhivakta Parishad, NCW is hosting a special event on March 8-9th in Chhatarpur to honor 1,200+ women advocates. This initiative recognizes their contributions to the legal system and aims to strengthen their role in shaping Viksit Bharat.

Mira Khadkar, Vice President, Akhil Bharatiya Abhivakta Parishad, emphasized, “Women advocates are the backbone of justice. Their contributions are instrumental in shaping a more equitable legal system, and this event is a celebration of their commitment and strength.”

Exhibition on Women Constitution Makers in Parliament

Starting March 8, NCW is organizing a special exhibition in Parliament to highlight the contributions of 15 remarkable women who played a pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution. This exhibition serves as a tribute to their legacy and an inspiration for future generations. the exhibition will be inaugurated by Hon’ble speaker of Lok Sabha Sh. Om Birla and NCW Chairperson, Smt Vijaya Rahatkar

“Women are at the heart of India’s progress. These initiatives reaffirm NCW’s commitment to providing them with the support, recognition, and resources they deserve,” added Chairperson Rahatkar.
