Bihar Launches Phased Training Program on Fortified Rice Quality and Storage

The Food and Consumer Protection Department is organizing a phased training program on topics related to quality control and storage of fortified rice under the state. The training program is being organized in three phases. Under the first phase of the training program, the training of master trainers is being conducted for all Assistant District Supply Officers, Marketing Officers and Supply Inspectors posted in the respective divisions at the divisional level from 21.03.2025 to 02.04.2025.

In the second phase of training, the owner of the fair price shop will be trained at the block office at the block level. The third phase of training will be organized for the members of the community at fair price shops or nearby places from 05.04.2025 to 10.04.2025.

In this regard, the Food and Consumer Protection Department has written a letter to all the Divisional Commissioners and all the District Officers requesting them to organize date wise training programs from 21.03.2025 to 10.04.2025 for all the officers and personnel related to fortified rice.
