Bihar Government Opens Crèche for Women Employees at Niyojan Bhawan
Initiative aims to support working mothers by providing safe childcare facilities, enhancing workplace inclusivity and empowerment.;

Keeping in mind the convenience of women employees, the Labor Resources Department has opened a crèche in the Niyojan Bhawan premises. It was inaugurated by the departmental minister Santosh Kumar Singh on Tuesday evening. On this occasion, he said that this is a commendable initiative. Its purpose is to provide maternal support to women employees, so that they do not have to worry about the proper care of their young children during office hours.
The minister said that under women empowerment, the government is working at every level to create a favorable environment for them at the workplace. The government is seriously working on all aspects related to this. The crèche is an important link related to this. The minister distributed biscuits, toffees and other gifts to the children present on this occasion.
Special Secretary Alok Kumar, while giving detailed information about this crèche, said that this crèche has the facility of proper care for children from 1 to 5 years. All kinds of standards have been followed regarding the safety of children. It has the capacity to keep 15 to 20 children. A female worker and an assistant crèche worker have been appointed to take care of the children. All the necessary items including toys have been made available here. During this, Special Secretary Alok Kumar, Labor Commissioner Rajesh Bharti and other departmental officers were present.
