Bihar Diwas will be celebrated in a grander manner this year than ever before. This five-day festival, which will run from 22 to 26 March, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on 22 March. During this, colorful cultural programs will be organized at various places in Patna, in which many famous artists of the country will entertain with their performances. This time the drama festival based on women theme will be the center of special attraction.

Various programs will be held at major places like Gandhi Maidan, Shri Krishna Memorial Hall, Ravindra Bhawan and Premchand Rangshala. For five days, five different plays based on women theme will be staged at Premchand Rangshala, in which all the main characters will be played by women. Along with this, street plays will also be performed, which will give the message of awareness in the society.

Special stalls will be set up at Gandhi Maidan by the Department of Art, Culture and Youth, where information about the achievements and schemes of the department will be given. At the same time, a painting training workshop will be organized for disabled children in Lalit Kala Bhavan, in which children from various schools of Patna will participate. Apart from this, the workshop of traditional Patna Kalam style will also be the center of attraction.

This festival is going to be special for music lovers as popular artists like Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Salman Ali, Hrithik Raj, and Pratibha Singh Baghel will entertain the audience with their performances.
