Taking a step forward in promoting national unity and cultural coordination, the Bihar government is soon going to enter into a cultural agreement with three states. Preparations are on to sign the MoU related to this. This initiative is being done under the 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' program, which aims to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of different states.

Initiative to promote cultural coordination

In December 2024, a cultural partnership agreement was signed between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh under the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' program. The initiative aims to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of both the states.

Artists of UP gave performance on Bihar Day

Under this agreement, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will cooperate in cultural, educational and social programs for the next three years. Recently, on the occasion of Bihar Day, artists from Uttar Pradesh gave their performance in Bihar and won the hearts of the people. It is worth noting that before this, artists from Bihar have also participated in Uttar Pradesh Day.

It will be broadcast on television and radio

Under this partnership, folk music, dance, drama, exhibitions and seminars will be organized. Also, there will be special art competitions for students and books based on cultural heritage will be distributed in schools and colleges. These programs will also be broadcast on television and radio, while the symbols of both the states will be used in promotional material.

National unity will be strengthened

This unique initiative of the Bihar government will promote cultural exchange and strengthen national unity. Talks are also going on with other states regarding possible agreements so that mutual harmony and cultural intimacy can be encouraged more in the country
