Putin Proposes Bilateral Meeting with PM Modi in Kazan to Review Key Agreements from Modi's Recent Russia Visit
India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow today. During this, many important issues were discussed between the two leaders. According to the Kremlin, Putin met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval face-to-face in St. Petersburg. After this, he invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come to Russia for the BRICS summit. Also, Putin ordered the concerned officials to arrange for separate bilateral talks with India's PM Modi during BRICS.
Let us tell you that just in July, PM Modi visited Russia and he had talks with President Putin on many global, regional and bilateral issues including the Russia-Ukraine war. According to the news of Russia's government agency TASS, Putin has proposed to arrange a bilateral meeting with the Indian PM at the BRICS summit.
The President has offered to hold this meeting mainly to summarize the results of joint efforts to implement the agreements reached during the Indian Prime Minister's visit to Moscow.
"We are waiting for Mr. Modi in Kazan, I suggest we also hold a bilateral meeting on October 22," Putin said at a meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval, according to the TASS agency.
