Kishanganj Students Claim Victory at Purnea Division Finals of Khel Gyanotsav 2025

The Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 witnessed an electrifying culmination of its Purnea Division Finals on Friday, held amidst much enthusiasm and celebration of young intellect. A total of 13 school teams from across the four districts of Araria, Purnea, Kishanganj, and Katihar competed in a gripping knowledge-based contest designed to test wit, awareness, and teamwork.

Emerging triumphant and clinching the first position were Anjani Kumar and Lucky Kumar Jha from TarachandDhanuka Academy, Thakurganj, Kishanganj. Their seamless coordination and sharp responses set them apart as the definitive champions of the day.

The second place was secured by the dynamic duo of Afrin Mokim and PrachiPriya from ND Rungta High School, Jalalgarh, Purnea, whose consistent performance kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

Claiming the third position were Krish Kumar and Rishu Raj from Lilju High School Budhia, Purnea, showcasing commendable effort and knowledge throughout the contest.

The event was elevated by the esteemed presence of several dignitaries, including Mr. Kundan Kumar, IAS, District Magistrate, Purnea, Mr. Kartikeya Sharma, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Parth Gupta, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Purnea, Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order), and Mr. Prafulla Mishra, District Education Officer.

The Division Final was a vibrant display of student excellence and competitive spirit, reinforcing the core mission of Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav — to foster holistic development through sports and intellectual pursuits across Bihar’s schools.

The journey continues with the next Division Final slated to be held in Magadh Division at Gaya on April 15, 2025. With each round, the anticipation builds as students from different corners of the state showcase their brilliance and battle it out for a place in the state-level finale.
