Now the farmers of Bihar will soon be given the benefit of KCC (Kisan Credit Card) at zero percent interest rate. The government is going to take a decision on this soon. These things were said by Cooperative Minister Dr. Prem Kumar. He was inaugurating the Chief Minister Adarsh ​​PACS Protsahan Yojana program organized at Dashrath Manjhi Research and Planning Institute in Patna on Friday. On this occasion, he awarded 46 excellent PACS selected in 2024-25. The departmental minister honored the presidents of the respective PACS by giving them shawls. 

The president of Sarairanjan Western PACS of Sarairanjan block of Samastipur district, who did the best work, was honored with a prize of Rs 15 lakh. The second prize of Rs 10 lakh was given to Matiyani Sonapur PACS of Begusarai district and the third prize of Rs 7 lakh was given to Miyapur PACS of Bairia block of West Champaran. The departmental minister said that whatever challenges the PACS are facing in the coming time, they will be resolved in front of the trade board. Praising the departmental officers, he said that the officers from top to bottom are working day and night to serve the farmers and establish the system of the state. 

He said that the PACS benefiting from the Chief Minister's Adarsh ​​PACS Promotion Scheme will not only increase their efficiency, but their morale will also increase. They will be motivated for excellent work. Its direct benefit will be given to the local villagers and farmers. He told the PACS President that you will be very happy to know that the United Nations has declared the year 2025 as the International Cooperative Year. 

On this occasion, many programs are to be organized in the state throughout the year. A booklet related to the outline and standard operating procedure of the program has been issued. Everyone is requested to participate happily in the programs of the International Cooperative Year. During this, departmental secretary Dharmendra Singh, Registrar of Cooperative Societies Inayat Khan and other officers were present.
