" वो शाम कुछ अजीब थी, ये शाम भी अजीब है, वो कल भी पास-पास थी, वो आज भी करीब है " - This song sung by the evergreen singer Kishore Kumar associated with Bhagalpur for 'Khamoshi' was seen coming true on 23 March, 2025 in Delhi when the annual reunion of the alumni of three major colleges of Bhagalpur, T.N.B. College, Sundarwati Women's College and Marwari College from the 1960s to the 2010s was drenched with the unforgettable memories of the fragrance of the sweet soil of Bhagalpur!

Harinath Mishra and Harendra Pratap, two casual announcers of Akashvani Bhagalpur from the 80s of the last century, were hugging each other after 36 years! Manoj Lal and Harendra Pratap, two members of the historic team that travelled by bicycle from Bhagalpur to Delhi via Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu and Lucknow on behalf of Bhagalpur University on the occasion of International Youth Year in 1985, were meeting again in Delhi after almost two decades. 'Gandhi' ji was not going to miss it, he appeared in person again! Yes, the most senior alumnus Kaiser N.K. Jani brought Mahatma Gandhi alive again in the meet ceremony with his acting! Senior bureaucrats, professors, doctors, advocates, journalists, entrepreneurs and other professionals participated in the program which went on till late evening with great enthusiasm in large numbers. Delhi Kumar Pandey, Vinay Kumar Singh, Umesh Sharma, Prem Narayan, Amod Kumar, Arvind Kumar Pandey, Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Devendra Kumar Singh, Jitendra Kumar Singh and Dinesh Kumar, with the important support of senior officer Sujit Kumar Mishra, prepared the background for this whole meet ceremony for months and made it meaningful in the month of March. Doctor Pankaj Kumar Jha refreshed old sweet memories by singing the song of singer Mukesh and Arvind Pandey refreshed them with the sweet tune of the flute. Alumni of SM College and Marwari College also looked excited, which included many alumni including Neelam Pandey, Neeraj Kumar Singh.

The most important aspect of the 2025 chapter of this Sneh Milan Samaroh was that not only the mutual affection was rekindled but affection was felt for the whole of Bihar and especially the whole of Bhagalpur.

From senior journalist Dhananjay Kumar to Nageshwar, everyone highlighted the potential contribution of alumni in the development of Bhagalpur and Bihar.

In the same sequence, concern was expressed over the dilapidated condition of the buildings of various educational institutions including T.N.B. College and the continuous decline in the quality of education.

Amidst the affectionate atmosphere, the current contribution of Dr. Jawahar Lal, Vice Chancellor of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University and the Mayor of Bhagalpur was appreciated and the alumni assured all kinds of help to the government and institutions in the development of education and employment in Bihar.
