Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Aam Aadmi Party releases second list of candidates, many new faces included
Manish Sisodia's seat changed, Awadh Ojha gets ticket from Patparganj; Rakhi Birla, Surendra Pal Bittu and Jitendra Singh Shanti also get a chance
Aam Aadmi Party has released the second list of candidates for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. There are a total of 20 names in this list. There are new faces on all 20 seats. The party had released the first list of candidates on November 21, which had 11 names. So far, Aam Aadmi Party has announced the names of a total of 31 candidates. Delhi Assembly elections may be held in February next year. The Election Commission has not yet announced the dates of the elections, but Aam Aadmi Party has started preparing for the elections with full force. Aam Aadmi Party has been in power in Delhi for the last 10 years and Kejriwal is putting everything to score a hat-trick of victory.

The most important thing in the second list of the Aam Aadmi Party is that Manish Sisodia's seat has been changed. Till now he used to contest elections from the Patparganj assembly and was also winning, but this time he is contesting from Jangpura. YouTuber and teacher Awadh Ojha has been given a ticket in place of Sisodia from Patparganj seat. Awadh Ojha has recently become a part of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Apart from this, Rakhi Birla, former MLA from Congress Surendra Pal Singh Bittu and ambulance man Jitendra Singh Shanti, who joined AAP from Bharatiya Janata Party, are also in the list. Rakhi Birla has been given ticket from Madipur. Whereas, Surendra Pal Singh Bittu has been fielded from Timarpur. Bittu has been a Congress MLA from this seat three times. Shanti has been fielded by Aam Aadmi Party from Shahdara.
On the other hand, Adil Ahmed Khan has been given ticket from Mustafabad. MLA Haji Yunus' ticket has been cut. Purandip Singh Sahni, son of MLA Prahlad Singh Sahni, has been given ticket from Chandni Chowk Assembly. Whereas, Vikas Bagga, son of MLA SK Bagga, has been given ticket from Krishna Nagar. Jitendra Singh Shanti has been given ticket in place of Delhi Assembly Speaker Ramniwas Goyal.
