Bihar: Minister Jayant Raj inspected the Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum and Smriti Stupa in Vaishali

This project will give global recognition to the cultural heritage of Vaishali and will provide a new centre for tourism.;

The Bihar government under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken important initiatives to promote tourism in the state. In this direction, the Honorable Minister of the Building Construction Department, Shri Jayant Raj ji inspected the under-construction Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum - cum - Smriti Stupa located in Vaishali today. During this, he took detailed information about the progress of the project work and directed the concerned officials to complete the remaining work soon. 


The under-construction museum and memorial stupa are being constructed by the Building Construction Department with pink stones ordered from Rajasthan. Minister Shri Jayant Raj ji said that after the completion of this project, a new center of tourism will develop in Vaishali, which will not only benefit the local community, but the historical and cultural heritage of Vaishali will also get global recognition. 


During the inspection, senior engineers of the department were also present and informed the minister about the current status of the project. The minister talked about speeding up the work and paying special attention to quality.

Through this project, Vaishali is being developed as a major tourist destination, which will preserve and showcase its rich cultural heritage.
