CM Nitish Kumar Inspects MLA Housing Complex, Roads, and Bridges in Patna

Reviews progress on housing for legislators, Mithapur-Mahuli road, Patna-Gaya road widening, and inaugurates Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama ROB to boost connectivity.;

Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar today inspected the MLA (MLA) and MLC (Legislative Councilor) housing complex. During this, Secretary of Building Construction Department Mr. Kumar Ravi told the Chief Minister that 75 flats built for Legislative Councilors in this new housing complex have been allotted to them. 246 flats are being built for MLAs (MLAs), out of which 88 flats have been allotted to MLAs. Construction of the remaining 188 flats will be completed in two months. He also informed the Chief Minister about the construction work of canteen, community hall, guest house.

The Chief Minister inspected various parts of the lower and upper floors of the newly constructed MLA flats. During the inspection of the new housing complex being built for MLAs and Legislative Councilors, the Chief Minister said that the path inside the complex should be kept in good condition, cleanliness should be maintained, and trees should also be planted in the complex. Complete the ongoing construction work quickly.

After this, the Chief Minister inspected the under construction Mithapur-Mahuli road. During this, the Chairman of Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, Mr. Shirshat Kapil told the Chief Minister that the length of Mithapur-Mahuli road is 11 km. Its remaining construction work will be completed by the month of April. During the inspection, the Chief Minister inspected the site near Mithapur flyover rotary and Mithapur railway crossing. He instructed the officials to complete the work of the elevated Mithapur bridge and the remaining road below it at a fast pace. This will facilitate people in commuting, people will also get relief from bypass jam. People going to Patna and outside Patna will also get a lot of convenience.

After this, the Chief Minister inspected the widening work of the old Patna-Gaya road. Stopping near Punpun Teenmuhani, the Chief Minister inspected the site and took stock of the construction work. During this, the Chief Minister said that the construction work of the elevated road to go from here to Punpun Ghat should be completed fast. Also, the construction work of Laxman Jhula should also be completed soon. He said that we have an old attachment with this area. We have always been coming to this area. I have got a chance to represent the people of this area. The Chief Minister met the people present there and enquired about their well-being.

After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the ROB of Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama Fourlane (NH-31). After the inauguration, the Chief Minister said that now people traveling from Bakhtiyarpur to Mokama will get more convenience. Also, the movement of people going from Patna to North Bihar will be easy and time will be saved. After this, the Chief Minister inspected the under-construction Bakhtiyarpur-Tajpur road and directed to complete it expeditiously.

During the inspection, Building Construction Minister Shri Jayant Raj, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Shri Mihir Kumar Singh, Secretary of Building Construction Department Shri Kumar Ravi, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Shri Gopal Singh, District Magistrate of Patna Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Chairman of Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited Shri Shirshat Kapil Ashok, Senior Superintendent of Police of Patna Shri Avkash Kumar and other senior officers were present.
