Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Inspects Arrah Medical College Construction, Inaugurates Multiple Development Projects in Bhojpur
Bihar CM sets August 2025 deadline for hospital completion, inaugurates schemes worth over Rs 41 crore, and lays foundation stones for key infrastructure projects
Today, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Government Medical College and Hospital under construction at Zero Mile in Arrah (Bhojpur district). On this occasion, the Secretary of Health Department, Sanjay Kumar Singh gave detailed information about the progress and construction work through the master plan.
While reviewing the construction work, the Chief Minister directed the officials that the construction work of this hospital should be completed before 15 August 2025 at all costs. He asked the officials to keep monitoring continuously so that the work could be completed within the time limit. The construction of the hospital will provide better medical services to the people of this area.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated schemes worth Rs 41 crore 63 lakh 86 thousand in Bhojpur district and laid the foundation stone of new schemes worth Rs 62 crore 66 lakh 57 thousand 650.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Government Basic 10+2 School at Bakhorapur in Barhara block and inspected the arrangements there. On this occasion, battery-operated tricycles were provided to 50 Divyangjans. Along with this, keys were also handed over to 10 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme. The Chief Minister then inaugurated the Bakhorapur Health and Wellness Center and said that it is in good condition and needs to be maintained like this so that patients continue to get facilities.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Adarsh Gram Panchayat Government Building in Bakhorapur and inspected the newly constructed building. Also, the Hasanbazar Model Police Station constructed at Rs 6.52 crore was inaugurated remotely. The foundation stone of 12 police buildings including two police station buildings to be built at Rs 16.07 crore in Bhojpur district was also laid.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the upgraded higher secondary schools, community health centres and pre-fab field hospital being built in various areas in Bhojpur district. Apart from this, the foundation stone was also laid for the construction work of various police station buildings and women's barracks.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Other Backward Classes Girls Residential +2 High School and inspected the developmental stalls set up in the Panchayat Government Building premises. On this occasion, he handed over the keys to 105 beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and provided cheques amounting to Rs 1 crore 84 lakh to 600 beneficiaries under the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme.
During this, symbolic cheques were also distributed to 110 beneficiaries of Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme and beneficiaries of other schemes. After this, the Chief Minister visited the Bakhorapurwali Maa Kali Temple and wished for happiness, peace and prosperity in the state.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Vijay Kumar Sinha, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, MLA Amarendra Pratap Singh, Legislative Councilor Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha along with other public representatives and officials were present.
