The poor living in kutcha houses in Bihar will get about 15 lakh pucca houses in the coming 7 to 8 months. These houses will be given under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. So far this year, 5 lakh 20 thousand pucca houses have been given. 5 lakh 20 thousand more houses will be given. Last year, 7 lakh 90 thousand houses were given to the poor under this scheme. Rs 8 thousand crore will be spent on the construction of the house. This announcement was made by Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan while talking to journalists in Patna on Saturday. The Union Minister reached Patna in the afternoon on a one-day Bihar tour. First of all, he held a meeting with NDA leaders in the BJP office. During this, he took stock of the preparations for the Prime Minister's program on April 24 in Madhubani. After this, he reviewed the schemes of the Rural Development Ministry in the auditorium located in the Chief Secretariat.

The Union Minister praised the implementation of the schemes of the Rural Development Department in Bihar and said that all the schemes are being run in a better and ideal manner. Many development and welfare programs are going on under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that so far 3 lakh Lakhpati Didis have been made in Bihar. The target has been set to increase their number to 20 lakh by the end of this year, which is likely to be achieved.

He said that 24 April is Panchayati Raj Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Bihar on a tour. The creation of a developed India is the Prime Minister's resolution. The concept of a developed India is possible only with a developed Bihar. Both the central and state governments are working together for this. The Prime Minister has already given many gifts to Bihar. He will also give many gifts in the program of 24 April. There will be inauguration, inauguration and foundation stone laying of many schemes. On this occasion, there will be a conference of elected representatives of Panchayati Raj. Representatives from all over the country will join it. He said that the people of Bihar will also be given the benefit of many schemes of the Rural Development Department. The PM will transfer the amount to the beneficiaries whose houses are approved through a click. The housewarming program of the beneficiaries whose houses are ready will also be organized.

On this occasion, Union Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Rajiv Ranjan alias Lallan Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen, Food Supply Minister Leshi Singh, Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, Rural Development Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh and other senior officials were present.
