Under the Har Khet Ko Pani Yojana, electricity connections are being provided free of cost to the farmers of the state. Farmers can still avail the benefits under this scheme. Under this, the facility of applying on the concerned portal will continue even now. The farmers who apply will be provided electricity connections by September this year. This order was given by Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena in a review meeting held in the auditorium of the Chief Secretariat on Tuesday. He was reviewing the major schemes of more than a dozen departments with the departmental secretary and DMs of all the districts. On this occasion, all the DMs were connected through online medium. The Chief Secretary directed to implement the schemes in a better way and ordered to complete the pending schemes on time.

Instructed to implement the announcements made during the Pragati Yatra of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in a better way on time. Instructed to implement the announcements made especially related to road construction soon. All DMs were especially asked to find a solution to the problems related to land acquisition in 47 such schemes related to road construction. Asked to find a solution to this in 15 days. The Chief Secretary held an in-depth review meeting on 11 major agendas. All districts were asked to continuously monitor the implementation of the Samagra Shivir started on the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birthday to ensure its proper implementation.

The Chief Secretary directed the department to properly publicize the much-anticipated scheme of the Agriculture Department, Har Khet Ko Pani. So that more and more farmers can take advantage of it. It is worth noting that earlier the last date for applying under this scheme was kept till February this year. But now its date has been extended. The farmers who have applied till February will be provided free electricity connection for irrigation work by June. Under this scheme, a target was set to provide connections to 1.5 lakh farmers, but till now more than this, 2 lakh 38 thousand 206 farmers have been given connections.

During the review of the Energy Department, it came to light that under the Roof Top Scheme, there is a provision to install solar energy plant on the roof. 74 thousand 28 applications have been received, in which 4 thousand 957 have been given its benefit so far. CS directed all DMs to complete it in mission mode. Asked to work by connecting Municipal Corporation and Self Help Group to connect more and more people with PM Surya Ghar Yojana. He directed to settle all pending cases under PM Awas Yojana on time.

Smart meters installed in 90 percent government buildings

During the review, it came to light that smart prepaid meters have been installed in 90 percent government buildings of the state. Apart from this, the status of collection of outstanding electricity bills from government departments is also much better. DMs of all districts were ordered to continuously review the payment of electricity bills.

Asked to solve the problem of Panchayat Government Building in 15 days

The Chief Secretary directed all DMs to solve other problems including land coming in the construction of Panchayat Government Building. Said that no work should be done which may get entangled in legal dispute. There are 213 Panchayat Government buildings, in whose construction there are problems including land. The Chief Secretary said that if there is a need to build it at this height at any place, then the junior engineer should prepare its design again.

Complete the pending schemes under Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal soon

The Chief Secretary directed to complete the 335 pending schemes under Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal Yojana soon. Schemes are pending in 335 wards in 6 districts Patna, Saharsa, Purnia, Nawada, Begusarai and Darbhanga due to some reason. In this, the maximum schemes are stuck in 261 wards in Saharsa district, for which the DM there was specially instructed to get them completed.

Instruction to develop 500 water reservoirs

He reviewed the schemes of the Tourism Department. It came to light that 500 water reservoirs have been identified in the state, which are mainly in rural areas. The districts have been asked to make special efforts to identify at least one acre of land around them and develop civic amenities in them. They have been asked to provide basic facilities like parking, cafeteria, sitting area etc. at this place. They have also been asked to make arrangements for boating in these reservoirs.

20307 acres of land has been identified for industries

20 thousand 307 acres of land has been identified for developing industrial areas in all 38 districts. If some districts are facing some problems in this, then the DM has been asked to make special efforts to resolve it. Among these identified lands, 17 thousand 728 are private, 2 thousand 429 are government and 150 are central government lands. These are being developed and made industrial areas.
