TRE-3 Teachers to Receive Posting Orders Next Week, Announces Bihar Education Secretary
Dr. S. Siddharth Addresses Various Educational Reforms Including 'Student of the Week' Program, School Infrastructure Improvements, and Ban on Plastic-Coated Books;

With the aim of making the education system in Bihar strong and inclusive, the program "Shiksha Ki Baat Har Saturday" is being organized. In the 12th episode of the program, once again, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Dr. S. Siddhartha participated and gave detailed and clear answers to every question related to the education system.
Posting orders of TRE-3 teachers will be issued by next week
Krishna Kumar of East Champaran asked when the appointment process of TRE-3 will be completed? On this, Dr. S. Siddhartha said that the appointment process is almost in the final stage. Posting orders of all TRE-3 teachers will be issued by Friday or Saturday next week. He said that priority in posting has been given to those schools where there is a shortage of teachers and the number of students is high so that the student-teacher ratio in the state can be balanced. All teachers will contribute to their respective schools from Monday.
New curriculum for Bagless Saturday will be released
Keshav Kumar, a teacher at Bakhri Muraul Basic School in Muzaffarpur, raised a question related to Bagless Saturday. He said that the guidelines prescribed for this program have not reached the schools till date, which is affecting the implementation. In response to this question, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department said that we are updating it again because many activities have been added in addition to Bagless Saturday, such as skill training and sports. We are also setting it hourly and the new curriculum of Bagless Saturday, we will try to release a revised curriculum in the next 10-15 days. Its guidelines can be seen on the website and will also be circulated in PDF.
'Student of the Week' will be started
At the same time, Bhabhua teacher Dheeraj Kumar expressed his gratitude to the department for starting the quarterly examination and suggested that children should also be encouraged in schools on the lines of 'Teacher of the Month'. Dr. S. Siddharth welcomed this suggestion and said that on the basis of discipline, exam results and activities of the students, 'Student of the Week' will be selected and the name will be displayed on the notice board. Also, special badges will be provided to the students.
Target of improving school infrastructure
Kishanganj teacher Kumari Nidhi told the problem of not having a boundary wall in her school. On this, Dr. Siddharth said that recently a list of requirements has been sought from all the schools, which also includes boundary wall. In the month of May, approval will be given for all the approved works like boundary wall, additional classes, toilets, laboratory, library construction etc. The target is to fulfill all the requirements before July 2025.
There will be quick admission system in 11th
Ashish Kumar, a teacher of Maner High School, Madhopur, Patna, said that after the results of 10th of Bihar Board are declared, admission in 11th starts late, which wastes the time of the students. On this, Dr. Siddharth said that now all the 10th pass students will be given immediate admission in 11th class on provisional basis and classes will also be started from next week. In this regard, monitoring will be done from Monday as to how many children have joined. Classes of all 11th students are to be started from next week. If a student has to go to another school, then the process of his admission is different.
English education will be promoted
Rashmi Bala Barnwal, a teacher of Pachrukhi, Siwan, suggested that English subject should be made compulsory in 9th and 10th class. On this, Dr. S. Siddharth said that this time bilingual books will be made available in both Hindi and English languages for the students of 9th, 10th and 11th class so that the students can study in both languages and their English can improve.
One school policy in one campus
Ranjit Kumar, a teacher of Rosda Primary School of Samastipur, said that 4 schools are being run in his school campus. If all were merged, it would have been easier to study. Students face problems due to awareness sessions and other school activities being conducted simultaneously. Responding to this, the Additional Chief Secretary said that we have given very clear instructions to the DEO to merge the schools which are in the same campus and run all the studies integrated. I have information in this regard, where many schools are running in the same campus. We do not want three different schools to run in the same campus.
E-library will be available again
Neelmani Pratap Shahi, a teacher from Hathua in Gopalganj, demanded that the e-library app be made available again. On this, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department said that the e-library app is being updated and restarted and it will be available to teachers and students from next week.
Ban on plastic coated books
Shams Alam, a teacher from Kutumba in Aurangabad, suggested that plastic coated books should be given to small children of primary school so that children cannot tear it. On this, Dr. S. Siddharth clarified that plastic is harmful to the environment, so plastic coated books will not be distributed. Children will be taught to take care of books so that they understand the importance of self-preservation.
