Bihar: The three-day Lakhisarai Children’s Film Festival came to a grand conclusion today, November 16, 2024, under the esteemed patronage of Sanjay Kumar Singh, Commissioner of the Munger Division.
The festival, which kicked off on November 14, coinciding with Children's Day, and concluded on National Press Day, has been a resounding success. District Magistrate Mithilesh Mishra extended a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests, presenting them with traditional scarves and mementos. The festival witnessed a diverse range of films being screened at venues such as Lakhisarai Museum, Mahadev Talkies, and Raj Cinema, including classics like "Gandhi", "Chak De India", and children's favorites.
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of several eminent personalities, including local dignitaries and Professor Anil, a renowned scholar from Shantiniketan.
