In a heartening initiative, a young educator has established a free English teaching institute in Chiniya block of Garhwa district, Jharkhand. The Civil Service School, founded by Shoaib Divyakirti, aims to empower rural students with the language skills necessary to compete in today's world.
A Teacher's Vision
As a biology teacher, Divyakirti has firsthand experience of the challenges faced by village students who struggle to understand English texts. "Learning English is no longer a luxury, but a necessity," he emphasizes. "I want to bridge the gap between rural and urban students, ensuring that our children can hold their own in a competitive world."
Objectives of the Institute
The Civil Service School has several objectives:
1. Free English Education: Provide free English education to rural students.
2. English Training for Hobbyists: Offer English training to village hobbyists, enabling them to support their children's education.
3. Activity-Based Learning: Foster activity-based learning to promote practical understanding of the language.
4. Strengthening Foundations: Strengthen the foundation of English education at the block level.
A Community-Driven Initiative
Divyakirti, who is also the Garhwa Dist President of Yuva Vahini Jharkhand, has received support from Lawyer Ayush Mishra, State President of the Student Wing of Jharkhand Lok-Janshakti-Party (Ram Vilas). This initiative is a shining example of community-driven social change.
