K.R. Mangalam University's NSS Unit Organizes 7-Day Special Camp

A seven-day special camp, held from January 2-8, 2025, at Lakhuwas village, Sohna, aimed to instill social responsibility and leadership among NSS volunteers. The camp, themed 'Youth for My Bharat and Youth for Digital Literacy,' was organized by K.R. Mangalam University's NSS Unit.
Under the guidance of Dr. Neeraj Kumari, NSS Program Coordinator, and other faculty members, the camp addressed key societal issues through various activities and expert sessions. These included digital literacy, cyber security, entrepreneurship, and drug abuse awareness.
Competitions, such as rangoli, declamation, and poster-making, encouraged creativity and critical thinking among participants. The camp also featured cultural programs, sports activities, and Nukkad Nataks on social issues, impacting the local community.
A health camp and first aid training benefited over 100 villagers, emphasizing healthcare and preparedness. The event concluded with a valedictory function, where awards recognized participants' efforts.
Dr. Rajendra Kumar Yadav, NSS Program Coordinator, Sushant University, presided over the function and distributed awards. The camp demonstrated the spirit of service and collective effort among NSS volunteers, contributing to societal welfare and nation-building.
