An agreement has been made on this, let us tell you that by March 2023, the land of the stadium will be given on lease to the BCCI, after which the construction work will start on it. However, to complete some of its formalities, the officials of the sports department have started preparing.

Capacity will be 30,000

According to the report, the capacity of the international cricket stadium to be built in Varanasi will be 30,000. This means 30,000 will be able to enjoy the match in the international cricket stadium. Let us tell you that the way has been cleared to build the third international cricket stadium of Uttar Pradesh and the first of Purvanchal. Soon the land will be given on lease to BCCI, after which the construction work of the stadium will start on it, let us tell you that this construction work will be done under the supervision of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association. This international cricket stadium will be equipped with modern facilities.

Two cricket stadiums Greenpark and Ekana in UP

Let us tell you that there are two cricket stadiums in Uttar Pradesh. The first Green Park is in Kanpur and Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. In which international ODI matches, T20 and Test matches are conducted. Kanpur's Green Park has a capacity of 32000 while Ekana Stadium has a capacity of 50000 spectators. With the construction of an international cricket stadium in Varanasi, the people of Purvanchal will also be able to enjoy international cricket matches. The stadium will be built on 32 acres, will cost Rs 121 crore

According to the report, the international cricket stadium to be built in Ganjari, Varanasi will be built on about 32 acres, in which 14 acres of land belongs to Gram Sabha while 12 acres of land has been purchased. Another 6 acres of land is yet to be acquired, out of this also the way to get three and a half acres of land has been cleared. Consent has been received from 14 farmers regarding this. Two and a half acres of land has been acquired, for which compensation is being prepared. Tell that 121 crore rupees are being spent for land acquisition.

Stadium design finalized

According to the report, let us tell you that according to UPA Vice President Faheem Ahmed, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved the construction of the stadium, not only this, approval has been received from the cabinet. The land will soon be given on lease to the BCCI, after which the UPA will come up with the construction of the stadium. This international cricket stadium will be equipped with modern facilities and resources. The capacity of this stadium will be 30,000.

Fees will be charged Rs 10 lakh per match

According to Regional Sports Officer RP Singh, the land will be given on rent to the BCCI. In return, Rs 10 lakh per match will be charged as fee. 10 lakh rupees will have to be deposited in the committee.
