Sri Aurobindo College (Eve) Hosts Successful Two-Day Annual Fest 'TARANG 24''

Sri Aurobindo College (Eve) NSS unit's annual fest, TARANG 24, was a two-day event marked by student participation, guest lectures, competitions like Samavesh (presentation) and Goonj (street play), social outreach & more.

The NSS unit of Sri Aurobindo College (Eve) recently held its grand two-day annual fest, 'TARANG 24,' under the leadership of Principal Prof. Arun Chaudhary and Program Officer Mr. Rajesh Kumar Nigah. The event, marked by festive spirit saw the active participation of students and prominent guests.

The Guest of honor." for the occasion was Mrs. Suman Nalwa (IPS), Dy. Commissioner of Police, PRO, Delhi Police. Two signature events Samavesh and Goonj, became the talk of the town. Samavesh, an inter-NSS PowerPoint presentation competition, showcased the year-long endeavors of various NSS units. Goonj, the street play competition, provided a platform for students to address contemporary social issues through an entertaining and informative format. Both events drew large audiences and concluded on a resounding success. The powerful street plays in Goonj offered a thought-provoking experience, highlighting critical social realities through an engaging medium.

The pious inauguration ceremony commenced with Vaidik Manglacharan by Dr. Raman Mishra. This was followed by a motivational address by Prof. Arun Chaudhary, Principal, who instilled a sense of purpose and encouraged active participation in the events.

The second day witnessed a collaborative effort between the NSS unit and the Dawn Foundation NGO. NSS volunteers visited the. Municipal Corporation of Delhi Primary School." Malviya Nagar, where they interacted with the children, imparting knowledge and fostering a spirit of engagement. The unit also organized a fun-filled activity called 'Paint-a-Bag', where the children showcased their creativity by painting tote bags. This heartwarming interaction marked a successful culmination of Tarang 24.

The entire event served as a testament to the unwavering dedication and teamwork of the NSS volunteers. The meticulous guidance and support of Mr. Rajesh Kumar Nigah, NSS Program Officer, played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and grand success of Tarang 24.
