Gaya's DAV Public School Pair Wins Magadh Division Finals of Khel Gyanotsav 2025
Priyansha and Vaishnav Seth Outshine 12 Teams from Five Districts to Secure Grand Finale Spot in Bihar's Premier School Quiz Championship;

The spirit of knowledge and competition was on full display as Gaya hosted the Magadh Division Finals of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 — Bihar’s flagship state-level inter-school quiz championship. The intellectually charged atmosphere at the venue bore testimony to the enthusiasm of young minds ready to showcase their brilliance.
A total of 12 top-performing teams from across the five districts of Magadh division — Gaya, Nawada, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, and Arwal — converged in the city on Tuesday to battle it out for a place in the Grand Finale. The contest began with a written preliminary round, setting the stage for an intense academic showdown. The top six teams with the highest scores progressed to the much-anticipated on-stage round, where wit, reflex, and knowledge were tested in equal measure.
After several electrifying rounds of quizzing, it was Priyansha and Vaishnav Seth from DAV Public School, Cantt Area, Gaya, who emerged as the champions, securing the first position with their quick thinking and seamless coordination.
Close on their heels were Arpan Kumar and Mohit Kumar from Senior Secondary School, Beri, Aurangabad, who bagged the second position, followed by Manish Kumar and SaloniKumari from U.M.V. Punthar, Narhat, Nawada, who finished third.
These three winning teams will now proudly represent the Magadh Division at the Grand Finale of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 — a celebration of talent, intellect, and youthful exuberance.The quiz was brilliantly conducted by renowned quizmaster Aniket Mishra, whose engaging style and razor-sharp questions kept both participants and the audience on the edge of their seats.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr Naveen Kumar, IAS, DDC, Gaya, Mr Rahul Kumar, DSO, Mr. Raj Narayan Singh, Chief Coordinator MKG, Mr Arya Gautam, Sr. Assistant Director, Bipard, Mr. Abhuyodaya, Assistant director, Bipard, Mr. Deepa Kaushik, Assistant director, Bipard and Md. AsgarAlamKhan,DPO, Gaya. who praised the initiative for encouraging academic excellence and fostering healthy competition among school students.
As the competition progresses, all eyes now turn to Patna, where the final divisional round will be held on Wednesday at the historic SK Memorial Hall, Gandhi Maidan. The Grand Finale of the contest is scheduled for Thursday at the Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna.
