State Level Youth Festival 2024: Day 2 Kicks Off with Vibrant Celebrations
Multilocation Events at Gandhi Maidan Showcase Bihar's Talent and Creativity;
The second day of the State Level Youth Festival 2024 was inaugurated from the main stage at Gandhi Maidan. Today's event was organized at four locations.
Group singing competitions were organized at the main stage located at Gandhi Maidan and competitions based on handicrafts, textiles and agro products were organized in the conference hall on the second floor of the sports building. At the same time, solo folk singing was organized in the auditorium of Ashok Academy and classical singing in the museum auditorium. On the other hand, a state-level science exhibition was organized at the stall set up at Gandhi Maidan. Participants from all the districts of Bihar presented their excellent creations.
In the competition organized in the conference hall located on the second floor of the sports building, a competition of artworks based on handicrafts, textiles and agro products was organized, whose jury included Mr. Firangi Lal Gupta and Mr. Ramchandra Ram. 20 participants participated in handicrafts, four in textiles and three in agro products.
On the other hand, a science exhibition was organized at the stall organized at Gandhi Maidan. Two participants from the Government College of Engineering of Buxar district displayed firefighting robot in a science exhibition and two students from Supaul College of Engineering of Supaul district displayed women safety smart shoe. Air pollution converter was displayed from Government Engineering College Sheikhpura of Sheikhpura district while participants from Muzaffarpur district presented their project on road accident prevention. Students of Government Engineering College from Vaishali district had made Agri Helper. Three students from Government Engineering College Munger from Munger district displayed their project on Save the Farmer, Increase the Crop. Students from Government Engineering College from Jamui district displayed their mini 3D printer. Students from Uchcha Vidyalaya Khagaria from the Khagaria district displayed the model of making ethane super fuel. Anti-tank guided missile was manufactured from the Government Engineering College of Arwal district. GCF Gaya Government Engineering College of Gaya district manufactured best Smart Garbage System. Plastic fuel was manufactured by the Engineering College of Arwal district. Similarly, students of Purnia College of Engineering from Purnia district manufactured Accident Detection and Alert System. Makhana Popping Machine was manufactured by Government College Engineering College Katihar. Traffic Pollution Control System was manufactured by Madhepura BP Mandal Engineering College. Laser Light Field and Home Security System was manufactured by Saharsa Engineering College. Similarly, Shri Phanishwar Nath Renu Engineering College from Araria presented a demonstration of Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer DWPT for Electrical Vehicle manufacturing. Electricity Generated Through Speed Breaker from Spring Mechanism was demonstrated by Madhubani Engineering College and a model of Healthy Eating Tracker Software was presented. Engineering College Siwan of Siwan district presented a demonstration of rain detector alarm. The children of Samastipur presented a demonstration of anti-slip glass. The children of Nalanda Engineering College Chandi presented the construction of firefighting robot. The children of Government College Lakhisarai presented a demonstration of wireless charging station for electric vehicle. The children of Government Engineering College Sheohar presented a demonstration on multipurpose quad copter. The children of LMJPAT Chhapra of Saran presented a demonstration of Project Agri Bazaar App and Digital Wedding Card. The children of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar Engineering College of Begusarai presented a demonstration on Sentinel Care. The children of Government Engineering College of Bhojpur presented a demonstration of life saver helmet. The children of Government Engineering College of Banka presented a demonstration of smart zebra crossing with smart breaker. Students of Government College of Engineering, Kaimur presented a demonstration of Automatic Home Appliance Control with GSM Module. Students of Nawada Engineering College presented their project on Foot Stop Power Generator Piezo Electric Effects. The jury of this science exhibition includes Dr. Vimlesh Kumar Principal GEC Lakhisarai, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal Polytechnic College Lakhisarai, Mr. Abhijeet Raj and Mr. Kumar Gaurav Assistant Professor deputed BIRSA C Patna.
Group folk singing was presented from the main stage situated in Gandhi Maidan. The jury comprised of Dr Manohar Gopal, music lecturer Begusarai and Mr Manoranjan Ojha, folk song teacher of Bhartiya Nritya Kala Mandir who is honoured with Bihar Kala Samman.
First of all, the announcer Soma Chakraborty made all the participants aware of the rules for participating in the competition. It was told that a team can have a maximum of 10 participants including the music side. In singing, folk songs of Indian song tradition are to be sung and any other kind of film songs will be banned. No electronic device will be used. A participating district was given 5 minutes for stage arrangements and 7 minutes for presentation. The jury made it clear that in the presentation, attention will be paid to the quality of singing, makeup, costumes, body movements etc. and mixing of songs will not be accepted.
In the pandal filled with young participants from across the state and children from various schools of the district, different districts performed one by one which is as follows -
A Maithili song related to the topic of Kanyadan was presented from Samastipur district. Its lyrics were -
Gethia Judai Baba Baisal Mandapawa,
Baba Kare Kanyadan Ho...
After that, a Holi folk song was presented from Aurangabad district whose lyrics were - Braj Mein Basi Hai...
After that, a group song was presented from Arwal district whose lyrics were - Beetate Phagunwa Chait Chadh Lai Gaye
Jiyara Mein Uthe Le Hilor Ae Raja Ji.
On the other hand, Jhoomar was presented from Gaya district whose lyrics were -
Laali Lagi Re Lal Laali Chunariya.
The folk song "Ban Than Pokharwa Pe Aile Ho Baba...!" was presented from Sheikhpura district.
The presentation of Banka district was "Zid Karke Na Jaaiyo Shahar Balma….
A group song was presented from Buxar whose lyrics were - Paniya Lale Lal Ho, Gaura Hamro Ke Chahi….
After this, a folk song based on agriculture was presented from Madhepura district whose lyrics were - "Baliya Ye Dhan Ki Jhoom Rahi Rahi, Kheto Mein Khet, Chhamak Chhamak Chhamke Beti Kisan Ki" The presentation captivated everyone.
Whereas the song was presented from Vaishali district –
"Aaju Janakpur mein madwa
bad suhaawan laage ho.
Seeta ke chhade le hardiya
bad suhaawan laage ho."
From Saran district, Piya bin Bhave ne Bhavanwa ho Ram chahe to Mahima was presented. From Purnia, Mor Bhangiya Rusal Jaye Baurhwa Rusal Jaye Gauri Daodi Daodi Kahiin Mor Bhangiya Rusal Jaye, after this, folk song was presented from Khagaria district, while from Patna district, Poorvi written by Mahendra Mishra was presented, Aadhi Aadhi Ratiya Ke Kuhuke Koyaliya Ho Ram, after this, from Jamui district, Samuh Log Jeet was presented, then from Shivhar, Koyal Bina Bagiya Na Bole Raja folk song was presented, while from Bhojpur district, traditional sanskar song Chutki Sindoora Mahang Bhale Chunari, first Anmol song was presented, after that, Muzaffarpur district presented, then folk song was presented from Kaimur, whose lyrics were Goriya Kaike Singar Angna Mein Pisle Hardiya, then folk song status from Jehanabad, whose lyrics are Ae Sajni Ae Sajni Piyawa Gele Kalkatwa Ae Sajni, after that, Katihar district was presented.
The results of all types of competitions will be declared tomorrow on 2.12.2024. Along with this, the participants will be given certificates, winners will be given mementos and shields etc.
In the State Level Yuva Utsav 2024, the entire team of the district administration successfully completed their allotted tasks. District Officer Mr. Mithilesh Mishra himself encouraged the artists to perform from the stage.
