The membership drive was recently launched by BJP national president JP Nadda, who renewed the membership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on September 2. Rivaba joined the BJP in 2019 and in 2022, the party fielded her from the Jamnagar assembly seat. She emerged victorious in the seat by defeating AAP candidate Karshanbhai Karamur.
35-year-old Ravindra Jadeja announced his retirement from T20Is after India's historic T20 World Cup 2024 win against South Africa in June. Now Ravindra Jadeja is going to start a new innings in politics. However, it is not yet clear what role he will play in the party. BJP is adding new members to the party. Jadeja's membership is also a part of this campaign.
