The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the DPSRU campus, marking the day India's Constitution came into effect. The event served as a platform to express gratitude towards the brave soldiers guarding our borders and pay tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India's independence.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ramesh K. Goyal, unfurled the Indian National Flag at the saluting base, receiving a general salute from a troop led by security in-charge Sh. Krishan Kumar (Ex-serviceman). Prof. Goyal then delivered an inspiring and patriotic speech, highlighting the achievements of DPSRU University in the past year and his vision for aligning the university's goals with the Viksit Bharat theme, both present and future. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Sahoo, Registrar of DPSRU, Deans and Directors of DPSRU and DIPSAR.

The cultural program began with a thought-provoking performance by the students of VERVE Society and Dr. Akash Midha, a faculty member of DPSRU. This was followed by captivating dance performances and patriotic songs by MALANG and RAAG Societies. Harshali, daughter of Dr. Mahaveer, showcased the impressive cultural talent and patriotism within the faculty and their families through her dance. The Paridrishya Society captured the event's essence through photographs, preserving these memories for future generations. The Aakriti Society decorated the surroundings with vibrant flowers, intricate rangoli designs, and creative paper crafts.

The event concluded with a group photograph, celebrating the occasion and enjoying the delectable boondi ladoo. The successful organization of the event was credited to Prof. Rajiv K. Tonk and Prof. Richa H. Rai, along with the dedicated members of the DPSRU Student Council led by Deepak Khari (President), Sarvshreshtha Tiwari (General Secretary), and Gagan (Vice President). Mr. Krishan Kumar, Caretaker and Security in-charge, also played a crucial role in ensuring the event's smooth execution.
