Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today inspected the development works of the 2 lane link road under construction on Mandiri Nala. During this, the Chief Minister reached near Bihar Arts College and took stock of the construction works. After this, the Chief Minister reached near Kali Mandir and Income Tax Golambar at Bansghat and inspected the site of the 2 lane link road under construction on Mandiri Nala.

During the inspection, Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department, Shri Abhay Kumar Singh gave detailed information to the Chief Minister regarding the progress and updated status of the 2 lane link road under construction. He told that the 2 lane link road under construction on Mandiri Nala will be from Nehru Path to JP Ganga Path, in which the road will be elevated from Bans Ghat of Danapur-Bankipur Path to JP Ganga Path.

The Chief Minister instructed the officials to complete the construction work of this 2 lane link road as per the set target. Take special care that the boundary wall of Bihar Arts College does not suffer any damage. During the inspection, people showed great enthusiasm when the Chief Minister reached Mandiri area. The local people thanked the Chief Minister for the development work going on in the Mandiri area by raising slogans and expressed their happiness and gratitude towards him. During this, the Chief Minister also talked to the local people. He said that after the completion of the construction of this road, people will get a lot of convenience in movement and will get relief from traffic jams. This will also save time and this area will develop further.

It is known that 1289 meter box drain cum 2 lane contact path is to be constructed from Income Tax Golambar to Bans Ghat of Danapur-Bankipur road on Nehru Path. In this, provision has been made for drain and utility duct along with service road. Apart from the construction of two ramps and three desilting chambers for cleanliness, four sulis gates are proposed for the arrangement and control of water drainage. For the beautification of this road, landscaping work is also to be done along with street lighting.

During the inspection, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Road Construction Minister Shri Nitin Naveen, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Deepak Kumar, Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department Shri Abhay Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Kumar Ravi, District Magistrate Shri Chandrashekhar Singh, Municipal Commissioner Shri Animesh Kumar Parashar, Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Avkash Kumar and other senior officers were present.
