The announcements made by Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar in Patna during the Pragati Yatra are now fully coming to fruition. One of the major provisions made under the Smart City Scheme, the Common Facility Center is going to start soon.

This facility will prove to be a big gift for the youth near Mithapur Metro Station in Patna. The Common Facility Center being built in an area of ​​​​26 thousand square feet at a cost of Rs 30 crore is now in its final stage. Patna Smart City Limited has constructed a post office, municipal corporation office, bank, open air theater, ATM and public courtyard on the ground floor of this center, which will be fully ready by June 2025.

Big gift to the youth of Bihar

All four blocks of the G Plus 2 building will be ready soon, after which the youth will get various types of facilities. In this building, state-of-the-art facilities will be made available in the same campus. Its construction will help the common people as well as the youth a lot.

From studies to facilities under one roof

Keeping in mind the daily needs of the youth, facilities like convenience store, general shop, stationery shop, salon and beauty parlor will be available on the first floor. At the same time, 'Didi Ki Rasoi', kitchen and store and a beautiful open air cafe are being built on the second floor.

Separate toilets have been arranged for men and women on every floor. Apart from this, two high-speed elevators and stairs, a gym and a small shopping mall are also ready. The special thing is that special attention has been given to greenery and cleanliness in the entire campus.

Expansion of modern infrastructure too

This building constructed at a cost of Rs 7.49 crore is not only full of facilities but the entire area around it is also being equipped with modern infrastructure. Under this project, PQC (PQC) road has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5.79 crore on 25 meter Right of Way (ROW). In this part, storm drain and utility duct have also been constructed in front of the Common Service Center so that water drainage and other essential services are not disrupted.

Similarly, a PQC road has been constructed on 15.3 meter right of way in front of Chandragupta Institute of Management at a cost of Rs 6.54 crore, in which storm drain and utility duct have been arranged.

At the same time, road, storm drain and utility duct have been constructed on 15.3 meter right of way in front of Chanakya National Law University at a cost of Rs 7.11 crore. The development work of the entire site around the Common Service Building has been done for Rs 1.43 crore, which includes beautification, footpath and traffic facilities. Apart from this, a water supply system has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.61 crore, so that uninterrupted water supply can be ensured.

Patna's educational hub will get a new identity

This facility center will especially benefit those youth who study in nearby major educational institutions like National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University, Patna campus of Nalanda Open University and Chandragupta Management Institute. By fulfilling their daily needs at one place, they will save time and resources.

Being built near the metro station at a cost of Rs 30 crore

This area of ​​​​Mithapur is connected by both road and metro, which will make it very easy to come and go here. Youth coming from other states will now get such a center in Patna, where they will be able to study and live in a comfortable and convenient environment. This scheme will provide a lot of convenience to the youth
