CM Nitish Kumar Conducts Aerial Survey of Bakhtiarpur-Tajpur Bridge and Inspects Bakhtiarpur-Mokama Four-Lane Road, Inaugurates 16 Projects

Inauguration and Foundation Laying of Road, Bridge, Police Building, Health Center, and Rural Development Projects; Chief Minister Emphasizes Improved Connectivity and Development in Bihar

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today conducted an aerial survey of the under-construction Bakhtiarpur (Karjan)-Tajpur (Samastipur) bridge.

After the aerial survey, the Chief Minister reached the under-construction railway overbridge near Karanauti in Patna district. He inspected the under-construction Bakhtiarpur-Mokma four-lane road and the railway overbridge being constructed on it and directed the officials to complete the work soon.

The Chief Minister said that once the Bakhtiarpur-Mokma four-lane is operational, traffic will become easier. This will make it very easy to travel from Patna to Mokma, Barauni, Begusarai and Lakhisarai via Bakhtiarpur, people will have to take less time and will also save fuel. After this, the Chief Minister inspected the connecting road of the under-construction Karjan-Tajpur bridge. The Chief Minister said that by connecting Karjan (NH-31) and Tajpur (NH-28), there will be a direct connection between NH-31 and NH-28 and another connectivity will be created between North Bihar and South Bihar, which will facilitate movement. Vehicles coming from Nalanda, Munger and Nawada will not need to come to Patna to go to North Bihar. Such vehicles will easily go to North Bihar, which will reduce the distance by 60 kilometers.

After this, reaching Belchhi, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Block cum Zonal Office cum Residential Building, Belchhi by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon and also inspected various parts of the newly constructed building. The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Model Police Station Building Barh, Model Police Station Building Airport and Model Police Station Building Samya Garh in Patna district at 17.78 crore through remote. He inaugurated 11 thousand 285 Chief Minister Rural Solar Street Lights in 23 blocks, 122 libraries in 23 blocks, a total of 21 community buildings cum work sheds, a total of 122 cattle sheds for the beneficiaries of sustainable livelihood, plastic waste management unit in 9 blocks, rural market in Gram Panchayat-Karay, 2 shade net houses built under the Chief Minister Horticulture Mission Scheme year 2023-24, 19 Anganwadi Center Buildings and 23 playgrounds in various blocks of Patna district. Along with this, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a total of 17 police buildings including 11 model police station buildings and Patna Junction in Patna district at Rs 88.97 crore. Along with this, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction work of 20 women constable barracks in Fatwah police station, 20 women constable barracks in Secretariat police station, 20 women constable barracks in Neura police station and 20 women constable barracks in Naubatpur police station under Patna district. Along with this, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of 720-bed Government Ambedkar Scheduled Caste +2 Residential School, Phulwari Sharif and Masaurhi, construction of 20 village organization buildings for Jeevika, construction of a total of 900 new animal sheds for the beneficiaries of sustainable livelihood, construction of 1911 soak pits and 103 roof rainwater harvesting structures under Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan and construction of buildings for 50 Anganwadi centers in various blocks.

After this, the Chief Minister inspected the stalls set up by various departments in the Belchhi block premises itself. The Chief Minister provided a symbolic cheque of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand to the beneficiaries of the Rural Housing Scheme and a symbolic cheque of Rs 55 crore 30 lakh to 3469 Jeevika groups. Also handed over the keys of Dhanarua and Naubatpur Jeevika Bhawan to Jeevika Didi.

After this, the Chief Minister inspected the four-by-six Aunta-Simaria (including a six-lane bridge over river Ganga) project of NH-31 at Hathidah, Mokama. During this, the Chief Minister took stock of the work under construction and directed to complete the construction work expeditiously. The Chief Minister also took information from the officials of National Highway Authority of India regarding this project. During the review of this project, the Chief Minister said that after the completion of the construction work of this new bridge, people will get more convenience in going towards Begusarai. The Chief Minister told the officials that when people reach that side from the new bridge and the old bridge, the problem of jam may arise due to the large number of vehicles. Keeping this in mind, write a letter to the Central Government for the construction of 10 km elevated road towards Begusarai. This will facilitate the movement of people going towards Begusarai and they will not have to face any kind of jam problem.

After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Primary Health Center in Maranchi by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon and inspected the newly constructed health center and took information about the health facilities. On this occasion, Union Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Shri Lallan Singh, MLA Shri Gyanendra Singh Gyanu, Legislative Councilor Shri Neeraj Kumar, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Shri Pratyaya Amrit, Director General cum Chairman cum Managing Director, Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation Shri Vinay Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Kumar Ravi, Secretary of Road Construction Department Shri Sandeep Pudakalakatti, Commissioner of Patna Division Shri Mayank Barbare, Inspector General of Police of Patna Zone Smt. Garima Malik, District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation cum Chairman of Bihar State Bridge Development Corporation Limited Shri Shirshat Kapil Ashok, Senior Superintendent of Police of Patna Shri Rajiv Mishra and other senior officers and officials of National Highway Authority of India were also present.
