RTU Kota Cleanliness Drive & Blood Donation Day

Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, observed the National Cleanliness Drive, National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, and Swachhta Diwas with great enthusiasm. Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh emphasized that "Cleanliness is Service" is not just a slogan but a moral responsibility ¹. He highlighted the significance of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, stating that "Blood donation is life-saving." Prof. Singh urged everyone to voluntarily donate blood from time to time, portraying it as a vital human duty.

Prof. Dinesh Birla, Dean of Faculty Affairs, elaborated on the strong connection between cleanliness and health, stating that cleanliness is the foundation of a healthy society. Dr. Rajesh Bhatt, NSS Chief Coordinator, presented a detailed report on the activities conducted during the "Swachhta Hi Seva" campaign, which ran from September 17 to October 1, 2024. He praised the active participation of students, faculty members, and staff.

Speaking on Voluntary Blood Donation Day, Dr. Bhatt emphasized that saving a life through blood donation is the greatest form of service. The event saw active involvement from all teachers, staff, and students of the university. Notable attendees included Prof. Ranjan Maheshwari, Prof. C.P. Gupta, Prof. Vivek Pandey, Dr. Shivalal, and Mr. Rajesh Kumar.
