The whole country is saddened by the disqualification of Vinesh Phogat in the Paris Olympics. Today, as the sun rose, the country was expecting at least a silver medal from Vinesh Phogat, but as soon as the news came that the Indian female wrestler would not be able to play in the final, all hopes were dashed. Not only the common Indian but also the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar is disappointed with this news. Sachin has written a long post on social media praising Vinesh Phogat as well as Nisha Dahiya.

Sachin wrote on X, " Nisha Dahiya and Vinesh Phogat, your courage and determination have inspired the entire nation. Nisha, fighting through injury with such spirit was truly remarkable. Vinesh, despite the heartbreak of disqualification, your incredible journey to the finals and victory against Yui Susaki have earned our deepest admiration. You both embody the spirit of champions. Although the outcomes weren't what we had hoped for, your resilience and heart have made a lasting impact. Hold your heads high, knowing that the entire nation stands with you in support. Thank you for giving your all for India. We are incredibly proud of you both."

Vinesh Phogat created history by reaching the final of wrestling and the whole country was expecting a gold medal from her but before the final of women's 50 kg wrestling, she was disqualified due to being found to be just 100 grams overweight. Vinesh Phogat was badly broken by this news and she had to be admitted to the hospital. Vinesh tried her best to lose weight all night but could not succeed. She exercised hard all night to lose weight. She even cut her hair but could not bring the weight below 50 kg.

Surprisingly, if the wrestler's weight is more than the weight category, then hard work has to be done to bring it to that level. Vinesh's body weight is 56-57 kg and it took her a lot of hard work to come down to 50 kg.

The UWW gives a relaxation of two kg in invitation tournaments but this rule does not apply in the Olympics, World Championship and Asian Championship. This is the reason why to lose weight, players have to stay without food and water for a day or two.
