Indian Army begins first online entrance exam for Agniveer recruitment

According to an Indian Army press release, the decision to hold the exam online was made in order to stay up with the pace of technology and support Digital India.

This represents a significant change in the Indian Army's hiring practises. According to a press statement from the Indian Army, the nation's technology proficiency has substantially increased, and with increased digital awareness, the youth are now enabled to take online tests.

In 176 cities across India, 375 examination centres will administer the online Common Entrance Exam.

Three steps will be used for the recruiting process starting this year. All candidates will take the online CEE (Common Entrance Exam) at stage one. The shortlisted applicants will be contacted for recruiting rallies in stage two, when they will be required to take a physical fitness test and a physical measurement test at places determined by the appropriate Army recruiting Office. The third and final stage involves a medical test for the chosen individuals. Following that, the successful applicants' final merit list will be announced, according to the press release.

The test would be given in the North East Zone in all seven states at 26 locations spread over 14 cities. According to the Indian Army, the 14 cities are Aizawl in Mizoram, Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland, Aizawl in Mizoram, Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, and Tezpur in Assam, Imphal, Ukhrul, and Churachandpur in Manipur, Shillong in Meghalaya, and Agartala in Tripura.

GUIDELINES

  • According to the rules, candidates must have their Indian Army Agniveer Hall Ticket 2023 with them in order to enter the written test room.
  • Candidates should use a legitimate centre code to confirm their allocated exam centre in advance, and the name on their ID card needs to be accurate.
  • Additionally, they must be sure to arrive at the location prior to the reporting time.
  • It's also important to read over and completely abide by the rules and standards for the test room.
  • Candidates must not bring any restricted objects into the test room.
