Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has decided to resign from the Budgam assembly constituency. He will remain MLA from the Ganderbal assembly seat. According to the information, the Ganderbal assembly seat is considered the stronghold of the National Conference and the Abdullah family. For this reason, Omar Abdullah has decided to keep this seat with him.

National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir for the second time at the age of 54.
