According to a study, people who sleep for 9 or 10 hours every night are 21 percent more likely to suffer from obesity within 6 years than those who sleep between 7 to 8 hours.
According to a study by the Medical Journal of American Academy of Neurology, people who take a mid-day nap for more than 90 minutes have a 25 percent increased risk of stroke, because sleeping too much can cause disturbances in cholesterol levels.

People who sleep late are seen to have high blood pressure problems. According to the Sleep Foundation, people who sleep for more than 9 hours are prone to some health related problem. Actually, people who sleep late in the morning do not get proper sunlight and the hormones of the body start losing their balance.
