Renowned Choreographer Jani Master Arrested in Sexual Harassment Case

The troubles of famous choreographer Sheikh Jani Basha, alias Jani Master, are not decreasing. Jani Master, who has choreographed songs for films like 'Stree 2', 'Jailer', 'Pushpa 1' and 'Varisu', has been arrested from Bengaluru in a sexual harassment case. A 21-year-old girl had accused the choreographer that Jani had worked with her on several projects and he had been sexually abusing her for the past few months. The Cyberabad Raidurgam police of Hyderabad took action on the girl's allegations and registered a zero FIR against the choreographer.

'Stree 2' song 'Aaj Ki Raat' choreographer Jani Master was arrested by the police, after which he was arrested not from Goa but from Bengaluru. On September 16, after the complaint of a 21-year-old girl, the police registered a case of sexual abuse against Jani.

A case has been registered against Jani Master at Raidurgam police station under sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (causing hurt) of the IPC. Jani was accused of sexually abusing the woman several times in different cities during outdoor shooting and at his home for 6 years. Not only this, this matter was first raised in front of Shikha Goyal, Director General of the Women Safety Wing (WSW) of Telangana, who advised the victim to register a case with the police.

Let us tell you that Jani Master is a famous choreographer of Telugu films. He has also choreographed many great songs in Kannada cinema. Jani Master has choreographed songs for stars like Allu Arjun, Thalapathy Vijay and Salman Khan. In Bollywood, he has choreographed 'Photocopy' from the film 'Jai Ho', 'Teri Baatein Mein Aisa Ulza Jiya' title track, 'Laal Peeli Ankhiyan' and 'Aaj Ki Raat' and 'Aayi Nai' from 'Stree 2'.
