Rostov Oil Depots Targeted in Ukrainian Drone Strikes, Major Fires Reported
Ukraine bombed an oil depot in Kamensky, Rostov, southern Russia today. Many tankers of the oil depot have been burnt in the drone attack by Ukraine. They are burning continuously. Fire is still coming out of them. Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev said that no one was killed in this attack. Nor has anyone been injured.
He posted this information on his Telegram messaging app. Firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire. The Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian air defense shot down four Ukrainian drones in this area. But the ministry did not say anything about the oil depot.
The Baja Telegram channel posted a video on its handle showing how three oil tanks were burning in the drone attack by Ukraine. This is part of the Kamensky oil depot. There was an attack by two drones here. Due to this very bright light, explosions and smoke are seen coming out at night. There has been no comment from Ukraine regarding this attack yet.
Oil depots were already burning in Rostov's Proletarsk. This attack happened at the same time due to which Kamensky's oil depot also started burning. Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev said that he and his people have seen Ukrainian drones flying at night. But they did not cause any explosion.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that they foiled eight drone attacks over the Voronezh area. But did not give details. The Russian government and Defense Ministry are not openly giving information about the attacks and losses on them. Ukraine and Russia have been at war for about 30 months.
