Israel Strikes Over 300 Hezbollah Bases in Two Major Attacks as Border Tensions Escalate

Before the attacks, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagar had warned the Lebanese residents to immediately vacate the area, as they were about to attack.

The Israeli military spokesperson said, 'We advise the citizens of those villages of Lebanon which are located close to such buildings and areas. Those used by Hezbollah for its military purposes should immediately move away from the danger for their safety. Hagar had already said that Hezbollah is preparing to attack Israel. In such a situation, Israel attacked Hezbollah first by taking a strong action of attack.

Tensions on the Israel-Lebanon border escalated rapidly after explosions in communication equipment in Lebanon earlier this week. 37 people were killed and 2,931 were injured in these blasts that took place for two days. These developments reflect the latest escalation of the ongoing conflict on the Israel-Lebanon border. This war started on October 8 last year. When Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel in solidarity with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. After this, Israel retaliated and carried out air strikes in south-eastern Lebanon.
