Jamyang Tsering Namgyal is an Indian politician from the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal was born on August 4, 1985, in Matho village, Leh, Ladakh.
He completed his early education in Leh and pursued higher education at Jammu University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Arts.
Namgyal's political career began with his involvement in student politics. He was an active member of the Student Union at Jammu University.
He later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and became actively involved in the party's activities in Ladakh.
Namgyal served as the Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) from 2015 to 2019, representing the Martselang constituency.
In the 2019 Indian general elections, Namgyal contested as the BJP candidate from the Ladakh parliamentary constituency.
He won the election with a significant margin, becoming the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ladakh.
Namgyal gained national attention with his passionate speech in the Lok Sabha in August 2019, supporting the abrogation of Article 370 and the reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories: Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
As an MP, Namgyal has focused on promoting sustainable development in Ladakh, emphasizing the need for better infrastructure, connectivity, and tourism.

He married Sonam Wangmo in February 2020.
