Countries do not have Independence Day

The UK does not have an Independence Day because it was never colonized or ruled by another nation.

Thailand (formerly Siam) has never been colonized by a foreign power and thus does not have an Independence Day.

Denmark has a long history as an independent nation and does not celebrate an Independence Day.

China celebrates its National Day on October 1st, marking the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, but it does not celebrate an Independence Day.

Japan celebrates its National Foundation Day on February 11th, commemorating the founding of the nation and the ascension of its first emperor, but it does not have an Independence Day as it was not colonized by a foreign power.

Nepal was never colonized and has maintained its sovereignty throughout its history. It does not celebrate an Independence Day.

Russia celebrates Russia Day on June 12, marking the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1990. However, it does not have an Independence Day as it was not a colony.

Canada celebrates Canada Day on July 1, commemorating the confederation of Canada in 1867. While it marks the country's foundation, it is not an Independence Day as Canada gradually gained independence from Britain through legislation over many years.

France celebrates Bastille Day on July 14, commemorating the French Revolution and the storming of the Bastille in 1789. It does not have an Independence Day as it was not colonized.
