Chirag Paswan was born on October 31, 1982, in Bihar, India, to Ram Vilas Paswan, a veteran politician and the founder of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), and Raj Kumari Paswan.
He completed his schooling from The Lawrence School, Sanawar, and later pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science from Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune.
