Tata Motors Set to Launch 'Curvv EV' on August 7th, Aiming to Solidify Electric Car Dominance

For the last few years, there has been a continuous increase in the demand for electric cars among Indian customers. In view of this, many companies have started launching new electric cars in this segment. However, Tata Motors still dominates this segment.

Let us tell you that Tata Motors alone has more than 65 percent share in the total electric car sales in India. Now to further increase its dominance, Tata Motors is going to launch a new electric SUV named Curvv EV on 7 August.

The SUV will be equipped with a 12-inch screen

The Tata Curvv EV will have a dashboard design like other Tata models like Nexon, Safari and Harrier. It will be equipped with a large 12-inch infotainment screen from Harman Kardon that will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. While the audio setup will have 9-speakers from JBL. Apart from this, the cabin of the car will also have leatherette upholstery, 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, wireless charger and panoramic sunroof with mood lighting.

The SUV will have 5-star safety

On the other hand, for safety, the SUV will also have 6-airbags, front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with 360-degree surround camera, all-disc brakes and Tata's iRA 2.0 connected technology. Apart from this, Level-2 ADAS will also be given in Tata Curvv EV. On the other hand, many media reports are claiming that Tata Curvv EV has already been tested by GNCAP and BNCAP where this SUV has got a 5-star safety rating.

Let us tell you that the ex-showroom price of Tata Curvv EV can be between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 24 lakh. When launched, the Tata Curvv EV will compete with other electric SUVs like the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV 400, BYD Atto 3 and the soon-to-be-launched Hyundai Creta EV.
