Meta Bans Over 7 Million WhatsApp Accounts in April 2024

Now the company has released this report for its platform WhatsApp. Meta has said in its report that 71 lakh WhatsApp accounts have been banned in the month of April 2024. This action has taken place between April 1 and April 30.

7,182,000 lakh accounts banned in April

WhatsApp has banned a total of 7,182,000 lakh accounts between April 1 and April 30. The company is using machine learning and data analytics to identify suspicious activities on its platform. In April, WhatsApp received complaints from 10,554 users, which included account support, ban recommendations, product support and security complaints.

Why are WhatsApp accounts banned?

The most ban on WhatsApp accounts is for policy violations. If you are involved in spreading any spam, scam and misinformation, then your account can be banned.
