ESA's PROBA-3 mission is ready launch with the cooperation of India, will study the Sun's corona

ISRO is going to launch the PROBA-3 mission on Wednesday. ISRO has informed to join the live coverage for the PSLV-C59 rocket / PROBA-3 mission. ISRO's commercial arm NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) will also cooperate in this mission.
SRO will launch the PROBA-3 mission from Sriharikota Space Center on December 4 at 4:08 pm. This is a mission of the European Space Agency (ESA). The PROBA-3 mission will study the corona of the Sun. According to ESA, the 'PROBA-3' mission will study the outermost and hottest layer of the Sun's atmosphere. Let us tell you that ISRO has already launched two PROBA missions. The first PROBA-1 was launched in 2001 and the second PROBA-2 mission was launched in 2009. ISRO was successful in both missions.

The PROBA-3 mission will be launched with two main spacecraft. The first is the Occulter, its weight is 200 kg. The second spacecraft is the Coronagraph, which weighs 340 kg. After launching, both satellites will separate. Later they will be positioned together to make a solar coronagraph. They will do a detailed study of the Sun's corona. The PROBA-3 mission is a partnership project of many countries of Europe. The group of these countries includes Spain, Poland, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland. The total cost of this mission has been estimated to be around 200 million euros. The PROBA-3 mission will run for two years. The special thing about this mission is that through this, for the first time, 'Precision Formation Flying' will be tested in space. Under this, two satellites will fly simultaneously. These satellites will continuously maintain the same fixed configuration.
