Punjab Minister Kataruchak hails historic 3-2 victory, expresses confidence in team's medal prospects at Paris Olympic

The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Preservation Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak has congratulated the Indian Men's Hockey team for defeating Australia by 3 - 2 in its last match of Pool B in Paris Olympics.

The Minister said that it is after 52 years that India has beaten Australian Hockey team in Olympics. Last time when India beat Aussies in Olympics was during 1972 Munich Olympics.

Extending his Best Wishes to the Indian Team for the journey ahead, the Minister expressed confidence that Indian team would certainly win the Medal this time also.

It is noteworthy that in today's match, Abhishek scored goal in 12th Minute while the Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored in 13th and 32nd Minute. For Australia, Tom Craig scored in 25th while Blake Govers did in the 55th Minute.
