Modern Basketball Courts Completed at Rajgir Sports Complex with Taiwan-Imported Flooring

The construction of a modern basketball court has been completed by the Building Construction Department in Rajgir Sports Complex. Two courts have been built here and the dimensions of the basketball court are 32.55 x 21.55 meters. Polyurethane Flooring System has been used in the construction of the floor of the court. Polyurethane Flooring System is a system that provides a durable, flexible and non-slip surface on concrete or other surfaces. This system is considered suitable for basketball. The material used here was imported from Taiwan. Seating facility for about 1800 spectators has been developed in the basketball court complex.

In this regard, the Secretary of the Department, Mr. Kumar Ravi, said that the infrastructure of sports grounds is being developed by the Building Construction Department. The construction of the basketball court complex is an important achievement. It will not only become an excellent practice ground for basketball players but will also provide a strong base for honing new talent. Facilities for 28 types of indoor-outdoor sports are being developed in the Rajgir Sports Complex.

He informed that the construction work of Rajgir Cricket Stadium is also being done at a fast pace. Drainage system is being developed in the cricket stadium as per the standards. The work of construction of cricket pitch and outfield has also been started. It is being completed at a fast pace. The construction work of pavilion structure has been completed and other construction work is going on at a fast pace. This stadium will prove to be a milestone for the development of cricket in Bihar.
